Find your people in New Zealand

Moving abroad is easier with people around you. Student communities help you meet classmates before you arrive, find flatmates, celebrate festivals far from home and swap tips on everyday life.

Communities appear here only when they come from a connected partner, with the source shown on every one.

No communities in New Zealand yet

PAXORA lists communities only when they come from a connected, approved partner. None is connected for New Zealand yet, so there is nothing to show. We won't fill this page with made-up groups or member numbers.

Joining communities safely

Most student groups are friendly and helpful. A few simple habits keep you safe.

Check who runs a group before you join, and be wary of groups with no clear organiser.
Don't share your passport, visa, address or bank details in group chats.
Never pay a deposit or rent to someone from a roommate group before you've seen the place and a written agreement.
Meet new people in public places first, and tell a friend where you're going.
Leave and report any group that pressures you for money or personal information.
