PAXORA is an information service. It can't send help, doesn't monitor anyone and doesn't use your location. In an emergency, always contact local emergency services directly.
For life-threatening situations, crimes in progress, fires and serious injuries.

For help that isn't urgent: reporting a crime after it happened, medical advice and support lines. If someone is in danger, use the emergency numbers above.
If you or someone you know is thinking about suicide, call or text 9-8-8.
Your university is often the quickest place to get help that isn't an emergency.
We only list a university's contacts once they've been taken from its official website. Until then, go straight to your university's own site.
On your university's website, look for:
General guidance from PAXORA for students anywhere. It isn't official advice for a particular country, so always follow local official guidance.
Official places to report scams and get help from your home country.
Canada's central place for reporting fraud and learning about current scams.
Your home country's embassy or consulate can help with problems such as a lost passport. It doesn't replace local emergency services: in an emergency, call the local emergency number first.
